Regular Member emmahj Posted January 22, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted January 22, 2005 It might be a slight touch of fin-rot or the fish could simply have caught its fins on the edge of an ornment and torn them slightly. I would just maintain very high water quality and salt to 0.1%, OR add a little Melafix. That should be enough. The extra heat is not necessary. Regular Member captk Posted January 29, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted January 29, 2005 Yeah, emma is right. As long as the edge of the fin is clean, it should be okay. Observe and keep the water pristine.
