Regular Member Athena Posted November 25, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted November 25, 2004 What do you guys think of an internal filter for my 2 gallon. Oh, it's for my betta not goldfish!!!
Regular Member Fishmerised Posted November 26, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted November 26, 2004 I've some of those at the lfs and the current is wild. I wouldn't use them even for a goldie. I have a charcole/sponge filter driven by an air pump in my betta tank. The bubbles only create current at the surface and my bettas don't mind it. Regular Member Athena Posted November 26, 2004 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 26, 2004 I didn't know that the current is so strong! Well, I don't know what kind of filter to get then because it's a tiny hexagon tank.

Regular Member svendenhowser Posted December 13, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted December 13, 2004 I have a 1200L/hr internal filter for my goldfish, it does have psycho flow, but the goldfish dont seem to mind and i have from 3cm to like 15cm goldies in there. but for a siamese fighter... it would knock him out ;P. Even the HOB filter i have in my community tank which he used to be in was too much for him. I too have one of those air driven filter wool filter type things, basically no current.
