Please help! Red raised sores all over fish!

I desperately need help. I have been scouring the internet but can’t really find exactly what my goldfish has. He’s a big guy, about 8 inches with red, pimple-like sores all over him but they are pointed…almost like little tiny spikes coming out of them. I have treated him with Melafix & even tried a two-day treatment for ick. I tried sharing a photo from my iCloud but could not get it to work
