Help! Goldfish with swim bladder disease, worst it's been!

Recommended Posts

When I got her in December, I immediately noticed the issue, but since then it has gotten worse. Today she was struggling to turn over so I removed her from the tank. Here is a link to a video:

Any suggestions?

Does she ever flip upright?

If not there isn't much you can do, but place the fish in a shallow container and feed duckweed only. It might help. If the bladder has deflated there isn't a way to fix it. 😣

She does flip upright, but can't stay that way very long.

I would have her in a shallow container and feed nothing but duckweed. That might help. 😁

Agreed with everyone but i want to ask, how much do you typically feed her and what do you feed her?

That can have a HUGE impact on swim bladder disease hun :( learnt that the hard way twice with my Betta!! Hes safe and sound now with a little TLC and I learned my lesson! Lol

Also, how are you water parameters? Like ammonia, nitrates and such? And how big is her tank?
