Regular Member J.Allen Posted October 17, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted October 17, 2020 a lot of this seems to be up in the air right now and laws will probably change, but right now in the United States many animals can be registered as emotional support animals for people that are coping with impending death or have post traumatic stress. Different from service animals like dogs, pigs, and ponies but similar in that registration can give advanced privileges such as flying in the cabin of a plane with the owner or, for example, I know someone with 3 kids and a dog but their new condo doesn't allow dogs, the small dog was registered as an emotional support animal for one of the children and then the condo could no longer disallow the dog. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
