Regular Member Sarah Hollimon Posted December 24, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted December 24, 2019 Hello all! I am wanting to know if it is possible to convert a fountain in one of our city parks to a gold fish pond. The fountain has cost the city tons of money because it has an architectural flaw: the parts that make it flow are electrical and found underwater in the guesstimated 8 feet around base. It continously shorts out and new parts have to be bought and put in. I am wondering if it is possible to convert it to a gold fish pond safe for the fish and cost effective for the city. In case this matters: the upper two levels I plan on making into succulent planters. Will that affect the fish in any way? Thanks for any guidance y'all can offer, Sarah Hollimon Assistant Director Parks and Recreation City of Crossett
