Regular Member Endorite Posted September 29, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted September 29, 2019 I’m working on setting up my quarantine tank, but I’m having some issues getting a lid for the tank I have (it currently has a metal screened reptile lid) is it okay for me to use the reptile lid temporally until I can get a new lid? (I shouldn’t have any fish in it for at least a month)
Helper Arctic Mama Posted September 29, 2019 Helper Share Posted September 29, 2019 Sure, just wash it very well. I have been known to cover 2/3 of the top of my quarantine tanks in cellophane to prevent splashes and droplets flying from the air stone, but lids aren’t really crucial either way. Open top is fine if you’re fine with it.
