SGcvn69   23 Posted June 18, 2019 My one with the pretty long flowing tail died within a 3 hr time span tonight! I got home at 7 and they looked fine, needed their daily water change while in quarantine, but I had to get out to pick up my dog. So I fed them and left. Come home and the one is gone! The shorter tailed one seems sluggish, but alive. I did a big water change ASAP. Hope I’m not too late! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Arctic Mama   3,625 Posted June 18, 2019 What quarantine procedures did you follow?  Were they Cynthia’s very specific ones, including no filter and aged water? Were you checking water parameters? We can help you troubleshoot but it’s probably best to email her directly so there aren’t too many cooks in the kitchen, as it were.

I didn’t see no filter? They hadn’t eaten all weekend.
SGcvn69   23 Posted June 18, 2019 Went back to read about the filter...I didn't use filter from another tank.
Arctic Mama   3,625 Posted June 18, 2019 Starting a new filter for them shouldn’t be a problem.  So let us know what Cynthia says when you get ahold of her.  Hugs!
