Regular Member yuthefool Posted February 21, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted February 21, 2019 Hi, I'm planning to have multiple aquariums but they are far away from the power outlet. Is it safe if I use power surge protector on top of power surge protector to extend it? I heard it's bad idea to use extension cord in long term. Any advice will be appreciated! Regular Member aussieJJDude Posted February 22, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted February 22, 2019 I would reccomend just installing an outlet closer to the aquariums. A lot less risk involved and neater then having cords run every where... it may cost a bit, but honestly safety is never an issue for cost.(In saying that, risks are pretty minimal... but there's still a good chance that something could go wrong.)Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Regular Member yuthefool Posted February 22, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 22, 2019 I'm placing the aquariums along the concreted wall and since it's a townhouse, it's another unit behind the wall. So installing a outlet would be a problem =/. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
