vimandvigrrrpet 35 Posted January 16, 2018 Yesterday i found one of my small pearl scales just about dead. All of them were fine in the morning. The pearlscale died about 6 hours later. I did a 80% water change and the others seemed fine. I just looked at them now and one if my large orandas is on its side on the bottom struggling. The other two are flasing on everything and banging into things in the tank. I feel like they are all going to die... I hope someone can help me. 20180116_005738.mp4

shakaho 6,312 Posted January 16, 2018 Obviously, your system has not cycled, since you had 2 ppm ammonia. That amount of ammonia could certainly account for the symptoms. Have you changed any media in your filters? Can you think of anything that might have damaged the cycle? Please add 2X the recommended dose of Prime to the tank daily. How did you measure 1ppm nitrate?
