vimandvigrrrpet 35 Posted September 24, 2017 My large Ornadas have white dots. I have a 40 gallon tank with two large grandad. I have been having trouble with ammonia. I get .25 pom right out of the tap. Between Prime and Safe. I seem to have that pretty much under control. Now my two have white dots on their web. Test Results for the Following: * Ammonia Level(Tank) .15ppm * Nitrite Level(Tank) Zero * Nitrate level(Tank) Zero * Ammonia Level(Tap) .25ppm * Nitrite Level(Tap) Zero * Nitrate level(Tap) Zero * Ph Level, Tank (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 6.5 * Ph Level, Tap (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 6.5 Other Required Info: * Brand of test-kit used and whether strips or drops? So I master test drops * Water temperature? 68 degrees * Tank size (how many gals.) and how long has it been running? 40 gal running for 3 years * What is the name and "size of the filter"(s)? Aqua ? 50 * How often do you change the water and how much? 50 % 2x per week * How many days ago was the last water change and how much did you change? 50 % 2 3 days ago * How many fish in the tank and their size? 2 4 inch Orandas * What kind of water additives or conditioners? Prime and Safe * What do you feed your fish and how often? Hikari Oranda sinking pellets * Any new fish added to the tank? No * Any medications added to the tank?
