Hi everyone! I am going to order some small ranchu, lion head, and orandas very soon. I plan on incorporating some Hikari Lionhead into my feeding routine. The Eheim everyday automatic feeder I have now is not too good for the pellet size of the Hikari, on the smallest opening it lets out way too much food. Can anyone recommend an automatic feeder that will put out the small size Hikari pellets a few times a day in small portions? Thank you!

Hmmmm . . . I've never used an automatic feeder.  There is one that everyone seems to like but I can't remember the name. :o  Let me do some searching.

Why do you use an automatic feeder every day?  Are you not around enough to feed? :idont

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I would like to use one just when I'm away during the day to give a couple of small feeders to the little fish. Like I said, the Eheim I have now just dispenses way too much it would be a disaster with the portions it uses for pellets. :thumbdown

Fish Mate F14 you can look it up on amazon. You put in the amount of food in the slots.

Thank you for the recommendation. I actually found a trick for the Eheim from a youtube video. Tape up the little hole to disperse as much as you want. How ingenious! The F14 does look like a good feeder though, with good precision feeding and I will considerate in the future. Thank you!
