muffluvin 138 Posted May 12, 2017 I stumbled upon a used Fluval Edge 6 gallon at my local Goodwill while dropping off some used clothes. It was $21 so I could not pass. After spending another $80 (the IKEA Trofast was almost $50), I think it turned out great. I used the Fluval / Aquaclear 20 Filter that came with the tank but replaced the standard intake with a surface skimmer from Tom's Aquatic. The tank is heated with a Marina C25. I painted the bottom and back if the tank black. Substrate is Caribsea Tahitian Moon. The plants came from his old Marina 360, the rocks and resin stuff came with the used 75 gallon I bought. I moved Bart the betta this morning. The guy deserves this, he rekindled my love for fish keeping. muffluvin 138 Posted May 13, 2017 Correction: The substrate is Moonlight Sand and not Tahitian Moon. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
