LouiseAnn 454 Posted April 4, 2017 I have chosen to only add the Epsom salt in with the tetracycline I already had in the tank. I'm not comfortable mixing meds unless I get a 100% okay. But good news, the red patches have gone. But now there is a red spot on its Wen. Fingers crossed
FishyMandy 6,284 Posted April 4, 2017 Hi I'd go ahead and use just Metro, Epsom and Trisulfa. No Tetracycline
shakaho 6,312 Posted April 4, 2017 You have been given excellent advice. You can follow it, but if it makes you uncomfortable, you certainly don't have to.

LouiseAnn 454 Posted April 5, 2017 That red spot on the wen has gone too ? The dropsy hasn't gone, but it's not worse. I have ordered the ocy tetracycline from the link provided. Im going to wait until that's in and put all of it together as instructed. I'll post a photo later ?
FishyMandy 6,284 Posted April 7, 2017 Good news on the red spots! How is the dropsy going? Have you got Epsom in yet? It will be fine to start the Epsom/Metro/Trisulfa while waiting for oxy Or even just the epsom if you don't feel comfortable using the other meds until the oxy arrives
LouiseAnn 454 Posted April 12, 2017 Update : still no red spots or marks, however the slight dropsy has not budged. the oxymav B has come in so I have started the Epsom trisulfa oxymav b and metro today

LouiseAnn 454 Posted April 17, 2017 My fishy has not changed. Seems active and happy. Slight dropsy is still there. Much the same as the image posted at the start. How long until I should see some change? Thank you ?
FishyMandy 6,284 Posted April 17, 2017 Normally I see improvement within a week or so, some take a bit longer.
LouiseAnn 454 Posted May 4, 2017 Update. Fish is much the same. I had stopped everything accept the trisulfa. And keeping my guns crossed.Fish looks pretty good and has shown me some really definite breeding stars on his fins!! I'll take that as a good sign and roll with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
