Oh no! Poor Fish! It looks like it was coagulated, so hopefully it's not too bad.

He was yawning this morning too while spitting the scabby stuff out and I ma aged to snap a pic. It looks like it has went down a little bit when I got up.

We are still thinking here but it looks like some was in his mouth at some point and it ruptured :(

Here's his mouth now. He's mouthing his food but spitting it back out. I'm just watching for new things as they come in case there's that will help.

It was suggested in the back to use "meth blue" in the tank and if you can swap the inside of the mouth :)

My husband dosed the tank with Melafix yesterday while I was asleep. :/ Waiting on the silver.  Here's his mouth today.

The swelling has went way down and I can see a wound on the inside of his mouth. I don't know if it was something I missed the first time I tried to look in there (he wasn't being very cooperative.) or if it was caused by it maybe rupturing when he was spitting those clots. He's just cruising around the tank today no yawning or spitting.

He looks better.  He might find soft food, like a gel food, easier to eat.

you can still see some red but it's not swollen anymore and he's eating soft food. If anything he's probably sick of seeing my face smashed against his livingroom window. lol. I'm not sure aditya. The only two things I have had in there was the salt which was changed out and then the melafix. Either way I'm glad it's healing.
