Regular Member Butterfly Posted October 24, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 24, 2016 Spunky Spike is still lookin' bad but feeling alright. If he pulls through I will get him a leather coat to match his tough as nails attitude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Regular Member fishnoob Posted October 24, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted October 24, 2016 heya my about 10 month old fantail(/oranda?) is kind of going through the same. has been pineconing for about a week now but other than that (and some occasional rubbing against surfaces plus some difficulty swallowing flakey, stringy food) it seems to be behaving normally. what i am using atm is a broad spectrum medication called GoldMed of the brand Tetra. before i started treatment, the fish was also lethargic and keeping still in a corner near the surface. now the swelling is slowly going down too.
