I got him home yesterday, and he and Schmendrik fish-hugged for about five minutes! He is looking good today. I'll post a picture later. ^_^

He does look pretty good! I'm so glad he is back with his buddy and hopefully able to eat without assistance.

Yeah they seem happy to be with each other again. Now all I have to do is wait a week or two until they come take the stitches out. ^_^

Anorea~ I know that Santa Cruz vet and you're in very good hands!

Awesome! She's so nice! It looks like she did a good job on Lemon. ^_^ I wish I could be an aquatic vet assistant for her.

Fantastic!  I've never heard of a prolapsed jaw before.  Glad you noticed when you did and you have such a wonderful vet near you to be able to help Lemon :)  Thank you for sharing and I hope Lemon's recovery continues to go smoothly.  I would love to help contribute to your gofundme page when I can :D

I hadn't heard of it either! The vet is coming by to my house on Saturday to take the stitches out, so I'll have another update soon. ^_^ I don't know if you can still contribute to the GoFundMe, but if you want to, that would be awesome, and thanks for the thought! :D
