I'm going to go bare bottom :booty

So, unfortunately, I've got to get rid of this awesome crinium type plant that needs substrate to grow :(

Some of it has algae, but the new growth doesn't.

I'll give it away. I just don't want to throw it all out.

The plants that I'm talking about are on the far left and far right side of the tank.

Any takers?

Man I wish I could they would be great for a Mollie or Guppy tank but my tank is in the middle of going to SW so I would kill them all :(

Dang.

Take her up on this, people!

She sent me some a while back and I LOVED them. only removed them because I went for a "less is more" approach.

Aubz, is that Jersey in the middle?? :heart

Well ok then.  I guess I missed out.  Maybe next time.

:o No, no! I've got a poop ton! And once it establishes in your tank it spreads via creeping vine/roots below the substrate. There's plenty to share :D

I just have to wait until it's not h€LLishly hot so the plants aren't melted :o

Aren't those a species of Cryptocoryne?

:D

Ummmm, :idont:

Lisa might know what they are because i got them at her pretty store a couple yrs ago.

All I know is that they are super awesome and they require substrate to proliferate.

Sorry for getting it wrong :ignore:

Hi Kokonuts :D

I wanted to refresh this thread!

I'm definitely going to go bare :booty and I've got lots of these pretty rooted plants. Does any body want them (free) I'll even pay shipping :nana

I'll take them, and I'll pay shipping if you want.

The brown stuff is diatom algae right? For some reason, it attacks my bare bottom tank viciously, but not my upstairs planted tank. The bare bottom tank does get SOME sunlight, but not very much at all... So it's odd.

Anyway Ulliri's tank would love the plants :D

Ok. I gotta check if the people who originally want them still want any.

Do you have substrate in your tank? They need it.

Even if I divide the plant int three parts, it's very prolific! Constantly making shoots and new baby-lets :lol2

There is a good layer of sand. Also there are Amazon Swords, Vallisneria, and a bit of water sprite already planted. Didn't realize you hadn't sent any to the people who already asked. The thread being refreshed confused me! Nevermind then, no big deal.

No no! No worries. I didn't send any during the summer because I thought the heat would melt, boil, or in general kill the plants. Plus, I wasn't 100% committed to disassembling my tank. But now I have Saber and Sookie, I need to.

I'll be doing it in the next week or 2 I think :)

I only recently started back up a planted tank with substrate so I can understand how things change. Two months ago, wouldn't have had anywhere to put.

I'd love any extras so I'm sticking around to see what's what lol

Holy moly! What a great deal!!! Are there still more plants up for grabs? I'd like to get in on it too!

Yes. I can send you some. Do you you have substrate in your tank? These plants require it.

Just give me a couple weeks to story stuff out
