Something's up not sure what

Recommended Posts

Mischief had a big spazz attack a little while ago, then seemed to get stuck face down between the glass and some plants. I rescued him, and he seemed fine, went on to other things and mom came to get me, he looked like this:cc46054e99948c7b00971d61c2983781.jpga88d50ff79a5513965c8d7bd07b94ee1.jpg

I thought maybe he gut something stuck where it didn't belong, and checked his gills as best I could, but didn't find anything. Eyes are clear, nothing appears swollen, no raised scales. I'm at a loss as to what's up. Can't find the form for a full list of everything needed, but ammonia and nitrIte are 0, nitrAte is 5-10. At anew appointment, and won't be able to get back to this for 60-90 minutes.

He looks really, really bad. The pale gills are worrisome, and the body shape isn't promising for a recovery, I'm sorry to say. Here is the form for filling out and we will do the best we can :)

Sorry to hear that  :hug

Be sure to check your water parameters to make sure the other fish aren't in any danger.  Also check your electrical equipment for shorts.
