So ive decided i want to add some plants like pothos to the goldfish tank and my ability to google a list of plants that are safe and can handle submerged roots has failed me.

Anyone have a list and know of other varieties... perhaps some with colour... that are both safe for fishies and can handle it?

I love the look of hypoestes is that one safe?

Any plant people use in a riparium is fine, there are lots of lists out there. Hypoestes can be grown, but it requires a good amount of light. Things like anthuriums and palm grass also work well. Another option is to use emersed aquatic plants.

I picked up 4 different baby sized ones from the nursery, we'll see how they go!
Its just hard to find info IMO, so many when you google a plant is just like "well I stuck the whole thing under water and it died" well somebody gonna tell me if that one will live with just roots under water?
