ChrissieA 113 Posted December 17, 2015 Your fish and tank are really gorgeous! The teeth kinda creep me out though lol. Why do they lose teeth? Do they grow the teeth back when they lose them? I'm envisioning geriatric gummy fish hehe
FishyMandy 6,277 Posted December 17, 2015 Thanks! Goldies are like sharks in that they constantly lose and regrow teeth

Bmitchell486 554 Posted December 17, 2015 Your fish are amazing! I really like their names too. I'd never thought about or noticed goldfish teeth before joining Koko's. My main tank is a gravel mixture of 1/3 black, 1/3 dark blue, and 1/3 light blue. My uncle recommended this color mixture when I was 10 years old and got my first tank, and I've been keeping it ever since! But due to the colors, I've never seen teeth in that tank. But, I've got black sand in my new tank, and even though I've only had those 2 ranchu's in there for a few months, there are so many white teeth in there! I need to start pulling them out bc there are getting to be enough where the sand doesn't look as nice
