Thank you. I will try to do a tour later when more of the flowers are in bloom and the lilies are up.

Got some baby goldfish today to restock. 9 oranda, 6 black moor and 5 calico fan tails. Super small, so I'm hoping I'll find them when I release them into the pond and they will live long and prosper. emoji868.png For now they are in QT outside in a tub. Of course the temps dropped into the 60s last night with some storms that passed by so the water is cooler than I'd like... for both the new fish and the lilies I just put in. emoji19.png

The original landscape/pond lighting slowly went bad less then 2 years after it was put in (right after the warranty ended of course).  I bought replacements 2 years (!) ago during a Labor Day sale but only ever got to replacing one light... shortly after which everything blew.

The guys who installed the lighting didn't make it easy as they put the wires under the 2-man boulders and encased others in pond foam during install (thanks! sarcasm). A good way to hide the wire and attempt at ensuring repeat business.  So, after a lot of electrical tinkering I finally got some lights back up myself.  Just 3 at the moment and none in the water (hopefully will last longer).  Lights up one side of my pond very well. I am going to have to get longer wire to hook up the other side, I tried splicing ito the wire that was on that side but there must be a some damage to an inaccessible part of it rendering it useless.

WOW I really like that plant. Never seen it before :yikes

Thanks. It was one of those tube plants from Petco. It took a while to get situated but man when it started growing it exploded. It was in a Fluval Spec III, LOL. Poor betta was like in a jungle.

Some plants in bloom.

Variegated yucca. This is the first time they've bloomed for me. Of course I was away and missed the first blooms.

A yellow shrimp plant (Pachystachys lutea) that I was worried wouldn't make it due to horrid maltreatment on my part this spring. Still struggling but looks like it will make it okay.

Some of my first blooms. Not the best shots or the biggest blooms, just the first crop. Hoping for many more before the relatively short season ends.
