Lighting replacement

Recommended Posts

Hi guys! :yeah:

Just wanna ask.. I have a Glo brand lighting system. First question, is this kind of lighting system energy consuming compared to LED light system? Second, can I replace the the UV lights with normal fluorescent lighting system (not UV, i dunno what they call with normal lights. The one that emits white lights only)?

Below are some pictures. Thank you!!

I use colour max colour enhancing and found a HUGE difference, it was amazing. The others I find give a yellow tone.

Yeah they look thin/compact. They're about 18-20 inches long each.

You can try any lighting store or a Home Depot for T5 fluorescent bulbs. Probably cheaper than buying them at a pet store.

Just bring the worn out bulb to make sure you get the right size.

Can I replace only one bulb/flourescent? The other one is still in a good condition.
