Sterilizing ceramic media

I am in the process of nuking my tank due to what might be columnaris or particularly vicious parasites, and I was wondering what people did to sterilize their ceramic media? I have AquaClear ceramic whatever that they provide, and Fluval Biomax rings. I am planning to throw away the sponges and floss to start afresh.

Would I bleach the material, or would the bleach soak in? Bake it? If so, how long and at what temperature?

Thanks!

Boil it or PP it, but do NOT bleach it. It's porous enough that removing the bleach is a pain.

Or heck, toss it and buy new. Probably easier :D
