NLS - what to get?

I guess it depends on your staple diets. I actually feed the betta pellets to mine because I have their herbivore staple in other foods (Repashy, Paradigm) and it's a good protein treat.

As a cornerstone I agree Thera A is quite nicely balanced :)

I also feed the Thera-A, in 1 mm size.  Thera-A is the same formula as some of their other foods, with the addition of garlic, which, while it hasn't been proven to have anti-parasitic properties, may have them -- and is a wonderful appetite stimulant regardless.

I feed the NLS "Grow" formula fry food and now the Grow .5 mm pellets to my balloon molly fry.

I've been feeding the goldfish formula.  I can't compare it to any other NLS formulas as its the only one I've tried, but compared to other brands, its leagues ahead.   My fish just gobble it right up and their energy and coloring is beautiful!

The NLS pellet foods are all pretty much the same formula with Thera-A having the extra garlic.  I think you would be fine with the Thera-A, Goldfish Formula, or Medium Fish Formula 1-2 mm sinking pellets.

Thank you all :) When I run out of pellets, I will for sure order some Thera A and the Goldfish one.

Right now I use 3-4 different types of pellets:

Hikari Green Bag

Hikari Lionhead

NatureFoods Goldfish Medium/Large

JBL Goldfish Energy Sticks.
