Regular Member Blitz Posted June 5, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted June 5, 2015 Pierre has been home for about six days now! He is already proving to be a very friendly and entertaining little fish. When we brought him he still had some fry coloring on him. Here he is in his water change bucket on 5/31. And... This is Pierre today (6/4) once again in his water change bucket. It's really exciting to see a fish change so quickly! Now I regret not taking photos every single day to record his progress. I guess I can work on that from here on out.

Regular Member Blitz Posted June 5, 2015 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 5, 2015 Pierre is a lucky fish. I foresee spoiling (pampering) in his future Indeed! He's already benefiting from me having a couple months of fish experience under my belt. Magi and Ilmarë had to put up with me trying things for the first time.
Regular Member RanchuDressing Posted June 5, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted June 5, 2015 It's possible that what you thought was fry coloring was actually healing ammonia burns.

Regular Member Blitz Posted June 5, 2015 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 5, 2015 It's possible that what you thought was fry coloring was actually healing ammonia burns. I hadn't even considered that! Eek! Do you think that is likely the case? Oh he so cute! A perfect little Pierre! Thanks! Sweety! Thank you. He has changed and looks great! Keep pampering him and grooming him, he will be a beautiful fish as he ages and fills out. Thanks. I'm hoping he does a bit of growing in QT so he'll be ready to handle the big tank with the other two.
