Regular Member run.without.raincoats Posted May 21, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted May 21, 2015 Ugghhh me again with my building's monthly water shut off. Last month it was brownish residue, this time I'm getting micro bubbles. Lots of them, like the water comes out white. I was dumb and already emptied the old tank water, so I'm reluctant to leave the tank half filled all night since the filter tube isn't submerged enough to work. How long does the water need to sit before the bubbles are fully dispersed? I've had it sitting for fifteen minutes or so and it looks relatively clear but I just want to be sure. I'm definitely investing in an extra bucket for next month so I can be sure I'll have clean water the next day
Regular Member fantailfan1 Posted May 21, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted May 21, 2015 This happens to me when I fill the betta tank. The bubbles essentially disappear within 10 min or so then I add it to the tank. I haven't had a problem with him.
Regular Member Niki Posted May 22, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted May 22, 2015 When I first put water in my little betta tank the micro bubbles stayed around for 2days, not sure what that meant, but I got sick of looking at them and wiped them away :-)
