Regular Member goldylove Posted May 16, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted May 16, 2015 I'm pretty sure these are harmless spots but thought I'd double check here. I noticed my black moor had spots on his gill covers a couple of weeks ago & now has them along the front edge of each front fin. The spots are nowhere else on the body. I'm thinking they are breeding tubercles & I have a male moor. would I be right? (sorry the photos are a bit crap, it's difficult to get him to stay still!)

Helper Arctic Mama Posted May 16, 2015 Helper Share Posted May 16, 2015 oh good! thanks for the confirmations Even when I see them on other people's fish I still get nervous when they pop up on mine. I'm so busy with disease whackamole that it seems like even spot is bad news. Those are DEFINITELY breeding stars, though. He thinks he's sexy
