Notice to those advising new members

We now have a statement of current forum guidelines for goldfish care.  When a new member comes in with an overstocked, underfiltered tank and has been misinformed about water changes, etc., you can now suggest they start by reading the guidelines rather than tell them all the things they are doing wrong.  It makes your welcome much warmer.

Good advice. Have you considered a section in there on treating sick fish? For example, do not self diagnose or begin medication, fill out the questionere, wait for moderator advice.
