Rocky is still munching away at anything i syringe feed her. but reality is that the bacteria has not only taken away her sight, she can no longer 'bounce' around, making her more motionless than what you see in the video. so, despite our best efforts, the responsible thing to do is to euth her. i was hoping it would not come to this, but after 5 days being on the best meds i can get my hands on, and by example with results from fish previously treated for dropsy, reality is that by now we should have seen some improvements. unfortunately this is not the case and my beloved 10 year old fantail needs to be released from her suffering. i don't have enough clove oil at hand, so if she's still with us in the morning, we will be saying our goodbyes 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
