Regular Member Tira Misu Posted March 26, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted March 26, 2015 Help! My beloved short tail ryukin has been floating upside down for over a week. I know she has SBD and usually I would fast her for three days and feed her peas. It normally resolves in a day. (this is the longest I had ever seen her float upside down). I thought she was egg bound so I decided to try to hand spawn after waiting a week. No eggs released. Her abdomen was rock solid. I read from a random forum that it can be from a tumor. Any one familiar or have any suggestions on my next step? (She is currently in isolation for redness to exposed fin with mepalex and epsom salt which is currently working).
Regular Member jmetzger72 Posted March 26, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted March 26, 2015 Please fill out the answers to the D&D Check List. The link is below my signature. You can copy and paste it here. The Epsom Salt is probably a good idea, but what is "mepalex"
