Goldfish fry dead?

For the first 24 hours or so they will often just lay/roll around on the bottom like this and appear to be dead. They have a yolk sack that will sustain them for roughly 36-48 hours. After that time you will see them become more active. :)

Yes, my eggs hatched Friday-Saturday (yesterday) and I'm about half and half right now with swimmers and those who are playing dead :) Your water should not be very deep. (No deeper than 6-8 inches is what I've read but my fry at in about 3" of water right now.) Reason being they need to swim to the surface to fill their swim bladders with air and if they cannot reach the surface they will die.
