ljk09 3 Posted March 17, 2015 Anyone have a Buddha in your aquarium? I would love to see him in there, and tell me where you got him!
Fish Of Gold 2,297 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) I think HomerJay has a Buddha in his tank. Not sure where it was bought at though. Edited March 17, 2015 by Fish Of Gold

HomerJay 4,668 Posted March 21, 2015 Yeah, it's my tank. I got Buddha at Petsmart. I cut a hole in his back and put a hole in his head so i could put an airstone in him to keep him from stagnating. He was getting smelly by the end of the week without the water going through him.
Fish Of Gold 2,297 Posted March 21, 2015 Is that your tank? It's GORGEOUS! No, I wish! My tanks could never be that great! Thought I put a title to it as being HomerJay's Sure is tranquil looking isn't it? Yeah, it's my tank. I got Buddha at Petsmart. I cut a hole in his back and put a hole in his head so i could put an airstone in him to keep him from stagnating. He was getting smelly by the end of the week without the water going through him. I forgot to click the follow button on this topic, but anyway I hope you don't mind me posting your picture without your permission But I'd like to ask you a question about it, how do you cut a hole in it without breaking it, and what did you use to cut it?

What do you do to make the lilies grow so well?

I don't mind at all. I used a Oscillating tool. Your tank is amazing! What do you do to make the lilies grow so well? Thanks, but this was from a little while back. It doesn't look like this now. There is a pic of it now in the Tank of the month entries. I'm not sure what i did, they just grow. I use API Leaf Zone and CO2 booster when I remember. I have a 10K LED light strip on top.
troy.telford 74 Posted April 3, 2015 I used to have a Buddha (the skinny Indian one). Problem: had holes in it. Fish decided he could fit in spite of all evidence to the contrary. Fish died.

troy.telford 74 Posted April 3, 2015 It was a couple years ago; I was really new to fish keeping. Lesson learned.
