My husband and I are Koi breeders and raise some goldfish varieties as well! We run a pond and water garden business and goldfish are becoming a larger portion of our business and sales every season! I currently have a few Fantails, Orandas, TV Ranchu, Tosakin, Comets, Shubunkins, Wakin and Watonai!! I am working on adding more goldfish varieties, some as demonstration, others for breeding and od course a number for resale. I am hoping I will be able to learn from this forum and others that I have joined. Another goal is getting to know and networking with more people in the goldfish community. I tried to "like" every bodies comments as you do on Facebook and got halfway through and it wouldn't let me get everyone!! It said I had given my limit of positive feedback allowed for the day!! Whoops!! I guess I am too positive!! LOL I am just getting started in some of the more exotic goldfish varieties. My husband does snow removal and property maintenance through the winter so that leaves me with some time on my hands, a very dangerous situation!! I am excited about all the fancies as they will give me my fishy fix through the off season of our Koi. I am planning to go on a fishing trip around the GTA to all the neat little LFS this weekend!! Hoping to see if they have a few little gems I might be able to pick up!! You never know what you might find!!!! If the weather holds and we have no snow Saturday it will be a go. I could go by myself but it is more fun when my hubby can accompany me. Plus he prefers to go to keep me from bringing home every stores complete inventory!!
