Glue from a hot glue gun is safe for an aquarium?

I want to glue suction cups to the bottom of my silk aquarium plants for my bare bottom tank. Will it be safe for my fish?

Hot glue cures as a harmless plastic, just make sure there are no mould inhibitors in it. To be honest superglue would be far simpler. ;)

For something a little easier to remove, you can also use aquarium silicone. Comes in tubes, will hold those suction cups down but can be scraped/peeled off if you change your decor later. Just be sure to cure the silicon according to package directions.
