Riparium Plants for Sale!

Recommended Posts

I haven't posted any goodies for a while, but now I have some well established Riparium Plants available for you!

On the left, we have a Black Mangrove that is 12" tall with 3 growing points.

On the right, we have a Red Mangrove that is 12" tall with 4 sets of leaves and a new set coming in.

On the left, we have a Black Mangrove that is 17" tall with 4 growing points.

On the right, we have a Dwarf Papyrus that is 20" tall with 14 growing points.

Take each bare-root plant for fifteen bucks.  Or take the plant "as is", planted in it's planter with Live Java Moss growing on top, for twenty bucks each.  I've had these 4 plants for over a year and all are fresh water acclimated.

In the space between the tall plants listed above, use Rain Lilies to fill in the gaps!  Treat them right and you'll get Flowers!  Most flowers will be white, but you may get some yellow!  Rain Lilies will grow about 7" tall.

These are bare-root at $1.50 each with fifteen available.

Need some Riparium Planters?  I have a few used planters available for $4.00 each.  They will come with the plastic planter, 2 suction cups, expanded clay pebbles, a planter screen and riparium planter gravel.  Everything you'll need for a beautiful Goldfish Riparium!

To get your Riparium plants, Message me now!

Also, check my wonderful reviews here: http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/94469-positive-review-of-acro/

The only plant listed, that will grow fully submerged is Hornwort.  However it is normally a floater.

The others are Riparium plants that will grow with their roots submerged (helping with nitrate reduction like "lucky bamboo").  They are grown above water in their suction cup planters and cannot be eaten by goldfish.

Here are some examples of what you can do with them:

Are both the red and black mangroves the same price? I'd like the two black mangroves in planters since I only have reds, and maybe a few used planters if you have them. :)

Does the mangrove need high light? How would it do in low humidity?

Yes, all mangroves are the same price.  And I'd be glad to set you up with some planters.  I'll PM you now.  :D

I have the mangroves under two 75 watt incandescent bulbs.  One on each side of the aquarium.  As for humidity, all my tanks are open topped and I run my air and heat normally.  It's only the roots that must stay wet.  The stem can go under water or be above, but the leaves have to stay out of water.

I'll send you a PM too.  :D
