Isa17 299 Posted November 17, 2014 No wen will grow unless she has the genes for it. Oranda and Goldfish gold both float, to my knowledge, and therefore are not much good to fancy goldfish. Sinking pellets are the way to go. Yes they do, I have both and had to change to sinking ones.
Fish Of Gold 2,297 Posted November 17, 2014 Omega One pellets and I'm thinking of trying the Thera A pellets next month. I also feed peas, Frozen Blood worms and occasionally frozen Brine Shrimp. I feed them cucumber or zucchini every weekend right after their weekly water changes as a treat. I just mixed up a little batch of Repashy's Soilent Green today for the 1st time, I'll try it out tomorrow to see how they like it

She is about 2.25 inches including the tail, and is a fantail.
jmetzger72 6,976 Posted November 18, 2014 Maybe wait until she is a little bigger. The NLS 1mm would be good.
finnfinnfriend 22 Posted November 18, 2014 Maybe wait until she is a little bigger. The NLS 1mm would be good. Okay that's perfect because I have nls 1mm so I will feed her that along with her non pellet things until she is bigger.
Dalya-and-her-Goldies 175 Posted November 19, 2014 I have a question: Is Hikari lionhead only good for fancies or for single tails too?
Mernany 3,708 Posted November 19, 2014 I feed Hikari Lionhead and New Life Spectrum Others+A 1mm size. I want to get the NLS algae max pellets some time just to mix it up and get more algae in their diet. I do supplement their diet with frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, repashy super green and solient green mixed together, and seaweed/veggies.
jmetzger72 6,976 Posted November 19, 2014 I have a question: Is Hikari lionhead only good for fancies or for single tails too? It's good for all types of Goldfish. The pellets are just a little bigger than the 1mm size, so maybe not ideal for babies.
