I need input to determine the sex of my new fishy friend :hummm
Even though I'm conscious she/he might still be too young to tell / might be hard to tell from pictures...

With my female fish the vent started to stick out as the fish grew. One fish I was CERTAIN was a boy (slim body shape, flat vent and exhibiting chasing behavior), until she finally started to grow ... and I realized I had been wrong. :) After her big growth spurt, her vent really sticks out.

i reckon you have a lady fish :)

 

off topic.. it really freaks me out when i see fish that look like they've been glued together :rofl (referring to that neat line running from vent to chest)
