yafashelli 9,540 Posted December 15, 2014 Look at all of your little guys! They look amazing! All of those tanks must keep you very busy!
blackmoors 359 Posted December 15, 2014 Thanks. Yeah keeps me occupied and gives me something to do. It's an enjoyable part of the hobby. Watching the fry hatch and grow/develop. You never know what they will turn into. (Colours, shapes, finage etc)
blackmoors 359 Posted December 15, 2014 I probably should see about getting a few more green eggs in my signature. Lol Lost count how many batches of fry I've had lol. But currently have 7 on the go now. And still have a few of last year's that I kept. Should try and get some pics of the older fry. (Fingerings?)

blackmoors 359 Posted December 19, 2014 My 5th spawn of pandamoors have just began hatching and sticking to the glass... .......That's now 7 fry tanks on the go.... Time to get the brine shrimpery into overdrive... lol.
blackmoors 359 Posted December 19, 2014 Not best pic. But can just see two little ones on the glass. There's a patch with about 50 but my camera refuses to focus on them.
blackmoors 359 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) Ok well getting final touches done for Xmas day tomorrow (wrapping presents etc) and what do I see?? Another spawn from the pandas...... Geez really? Soooo the new fry tank I had been just about to move my larger fry into has now become a nursery/hatchery.... Lol. I probably should have let it go? But seeing as pandamoors are so hard to get in aust I figured I'd see what I can do. That's spawn no. 6 of pandamoors I've actually caught. And I'm sure I've missed a few...... blackmoors 359 Posted July 18, 2015 Live and learn hey. I thought fish shops would want the larger fish. It was my small fry the wanted. Except of course the pandamoors, they wanted any sizes of them. Particularly the larger the better. They weren't sure on the willows but took a couple of panda willows to try. And will give me a call if they want anymore fish. I really need to now decide what pandas i wish to keep etc and go from there. Good thing tho i rehomed a few today and may rehome more later.

blackmoors 359 Posted August 26, 2015 Not the best pics. The missing scales is due to them spawning. ....again.for gentle placid creatures they're quite rough during spawns lol.
blackmoors 359 Posted September 27, 2015 Had to do a shuffle of fry today (keep similar sized fry together to avoid canabalism ) So did a quick pic of some.
kiro 47 Posted September 28, 2015 They're so beautiful! (and as a complete side note, if there were bowls with pattern like that painted on them you bet I'd buy dozen).
blackmoors 359 Posted October 9, 2015 Amazing what some sunlight can do. A pic of one of my Waikin fry from last summer. When they went into the grow out pond they were small white anf yellowish (very very pale orange) Now they're getting bigger and more intense in colour. So hopefully they can match the adults soon with that suoer intense red (red orange)
