Rather than multiple threads I figured I'd make one.

So here's a pic of my panda moor spawn from today.

And here's my fry which are approx 3 weeks old from the same panda moors

20141115_181306_zpsb25b64c0.jpg Just had a quick look and my new spawn of panda moors have began hatching.

Not the best pic as battery is flat and won't focus etc.

It's funny watching them swim around with the egg casing on their head like a cartoon ish sperm. Lol

Can see other eggs vibrating so they will be emerging soon too i guess.

Better pic of the fry feeding.

Approx 10 days old.

Will have to prep another tank soon to split them to help maintain water quality and allow them to all get enough food to grow etc.

Soooooooo many fry tanks atm lol.

Lol yeah they get addictive. ...

They'd Def hate my place lmao

I'm down to 15 tanks and 4 ponds atm.

But it's creeping up again thanks to the fry.

Hopefully my fish room door will help things and I'll set up more ponds and reduce the tanks again

Lol 15 tanks sounds amazing. My parents like the fish but get a little annoyed with each new thing that ends up filled with water and fish haha. As least I can assure them the fry tanks wont be there forever :P

Awoke this morning to find my waiken all chasing a single female. (So I'm assuming I have 4 males and 1 female)

Unfortunately for her 1 male is twice her size :(

And they are all relentless and extremely violent with their chasing I watched one charge from the other side of the pond and ram her in the side while the others were hitting her from behind.

She then started being pushed sideways around the tank.

So I have now caught her and put her into a breeding cage (small but will give her some rest I hope. )

The males seem to be calming down atm. But unsure what will happen when I re release her.

I've thrown some silk plants into the pond so there may be some hidey spots but will have to keep eyes on her all the time.....

Also I must have missed another panda Moore spawn because I found newly hatched fry clinging to the glass of the tank this morning too....

So managed to rescue 10 so far.

.....Must be something in the water. ... lol

Ok. Well I threw a silk plant from the waiken pond into an old (tiny tank) just to see what would happen.....

Well just 5 mins ago I observed 3 tiny fry clinging to the glass. ..

There may be more to come I haven't had a real hard look yet.

I did also notice some wrigglys. Or mosquito larvae in there too.

So ill do my best to remove them and then see how many fry there may be.

This is/will be my first ever waiken fry.

Can't wait :)
