Having one huge tank will be nice. Mom, Dad, siblings, can just sit in front of it and talk about it and the fish. :P

Three week's is gradual? hehe I'd have a hard time waiting that long. But I understand your thinking....but couldn't you just keep an eye on the param and do a water change as needed? I hope all your fish are on their best behavior for you and their new home with tons of new plants. :)

So here is a list of the plants in the tank;

Anubias

Java fern

Vallisneria spiralis

Amazon swords

Two other varieties of sword - green flame and Paul Kloecker

Hygrophila polysperma (they sent me the wrong one!)

Cardamine lyrata

Lotus bulbs of some kind (I can't remember :teehee)

A crypt...of which I'm unfamiliar of the name

Althernanthera rosanervig

Sagittaria subulata

Bolbtius heudelotii

I think that's everything :)

This is less than 24 hours with the fx5 running. It's much clearer than it was last night, but it's still got some way to go before it is totally clear.

Looking great, Lis. I'd love to see some close-up shots of some of the plants when your tank clears up. :)

Now that it's looking clearer, I'll try to get some decent photos tonight :)

Absolutely gorgeous Alicia, and thanks for posting the plant list again :P I think it's the burgundy lotus that really got me, I'm debating switching out some of my Swords as I just can't seem to win with them. That plant would make a great replacement!

Your filters are doing a great job, really looking forward to some detail shots when you're ready :D

It's so beautiful. :heart I love the varying 'hills' and 'valleys', very eye catching.

Thank you Dan! :D

I do love the lotus :) I have around 10-15 young ones around it too, but they're too small to really notice yet. I'm hoping my swords do well, I've never done that great with swords, but I'm determined to make this work :)

Wowzerz! Liz, it's the most amazing creation  I too love the peaks and valleys :)

:Congrats:

Thank you Aubrey! :D
