Tonight's results:

For once, it looked more yellow in person! :nana

Sooo, I will be testing tomorrow. Do I add Prime tonight or not?

Problem is, I have to leave tomorrow night and I won't be back until some time Monday late afternoon/night.

Do I do a wc tomorrow to be safe or can I wait until I get back Monday?

Results this morning!

Looking down through the top, the ammonia is still yellow! :nana

I get out at work at 9 tonight, so I can test again before I leave, if you think I need to.

Should I dose with Prime before I leave?

I also tested nitrites just in case and they are still a definite 0! :thumb:

I will be doing a wc on Chicklet's qt in a few minutes.

Looking good. :D

I still wouldn't do anything. I think you may be over your bump. :teehee

Shouldn't the nitrates be 0 though? I'm pretty sure they were 0 the last time I checked before all this happened. :hummm

No, the nitrates shouldn't be 0. Nitrates are the end product of the nitrogen cycle. We do WCs to remove them. Once they get to about 20 (or weekly, whichever comes first) is when you'll want to do another WC. :D

Thursday will be one week since I did a wc, hoping to make it til then!

Nitrate looks to be in the 10-20 range, hard to tell on a computer. I think you're fine waiting til tomorrow to do a WC. Just do a very large one tomorrow. :D

Yay!

Do you think I can start adding in the baking soda with tomorrow's water change or should I wait awhile longer?

Oh Crap! Something is going on. :(

Usually the tank and the tap are the same.

I'm uploading a vid now.

Usually both are solidly in the 7.4 on the high range kit. Almost the exact color.

When I use the regular ph test it's always 7.6 or darker.

OK, you're confusing me. :rofl

To test pH, test with the regular range first. If that color matches one on the regular range chart, that's the pH. If it's as dark as the 7.6 on the low range, tehn test with the high range pH kit. Whichever color it then matches on the high range chart is the pH.

Now tell me what your pH is tap and tnak. Don't make me watch the video again. :tomuch:
