JordanWong1998 7 Posted July 12, 2014 It's been almost 3 entire months; If not, longer. And my "common goldfish" has not got any bigger. So with that being said, I did some research and I have found out that he is a rosy red minnow! I will still keep him, But may move him into a small 5 gallon tank. Right now I do have some black nose dace in with the rosy red minnow, They seem to be getting along! Well, I'm not sure if its good news, but I am happy about it. I recently got another 10 gallon tank and will be planning on using it for a lizard/salamander or possibly a frog! Im not sure where to put something like this, so sorry if in wrong section!

goldfishfanforever 913 Posted July 12, 2014 I would keep a rosy red in a 5 gallon mine is already past 4 inches long
Mikey 6,780 Posted July 12, 2014 Cool! I wouldn't put the rosy in a tank smaller than a ten gallon. They get bigger than you think.

goldiegeek 523 Posted July 28, 2014 Jordan, if you want to start a new tank with something different, I recommend a 20 gallon long tank and an Axolotl. They are easy to care for, relatively speaking. They need very cold water (55-65). I blow a fan over the surface of my tank and it's at a constant 62 degrees. Check them out:)
JordanWong1998 7 Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) Hey All! It's been quite some time, I've been busy, getting use to some new changes. I recently dropped out of my public school, and I am now taking classes online. AP Psychology to be exact! Yeah! Here is the picture you requested so long ago! GoldenSpoiledRotten 6,786 Posted October 17, 2014 That is no minnow. It's a common goldfish.
JustRachel 239 Posted October 18, 2014 Yep, that's a common goldfish. Rosy reds (fathead minnows) are long and thin and grow to somewhere around 3-4".
