Or so she says! :rofl3

Allow me to introduce to you, Chubba! She was previously Mikey's fish.

She lacks proper anal fins and has a problem with her swim bladder but the redness you see is a result of a genetic component that causes the blood to show more than normal. She is two years old and has always had this appearance. c:

Chubba lives an otherwise normal and happy life with a fellow ryukin named Lin and a hibuna named Jade. I feed her in this little container (for now, until she outgrows it) so she always gets enough to eat. :)

She's very spoiled and the tanks little princess. :heart :heart

Thank you Dan! :bighug My phone tends to capture some nice images from time to time. :D

It is a little scary at first but once I realized she's not suffering from it and acts like any other fish, it puts me at ease. She's been growing very well but the redness looks to be sticking around. :idont:heart

I really like that look! Knowing it is normal for her and not a problem, I really like what a different color it gives her.

Kind of a Princess Pink. ;)

Thanks Fluffy! :D

I'll post more photos as she grows. :happydance It looks like even after two years, she's willing to grow for her new momma and with the support of new new friends.

She's definitely settled in nicely. :D I hope she can win the fight against her swim bladder but for now I'll just keep feeding her separately so she doesn't struggle with getting to it in time. :heart

Awww, thank you! :bighug:heart I'm happy you think so.

Hmmm that is odd.

It is! But she's a very silly little girl who loves to hear me talk to her.

Great pics! :) I'm happy you're both happy! :hug

Thanks! She seems very happy here so far and is slowly learning to push her way to the food without my help. :teehee
