...will they be able to eat frozen baby brine shrimp?

my lfs dosn't get a shipment of bbs eggs until friday :(

also, how many times a day do they get fed?

(and ohmygoodness you were right ! lol i thought i'd only get one or two fry but i've counted 10 or so :o lol )

Waldo didn't really get into the frozen BBS. But I didn't try them til he was already used to his food dancing and hopping for him. :rofl

You could certainly try it. Also if you have some live plants put those in with them. They will find lots of good things to munch on there. :teehee

the eggs were all stuck to my giant green temple plant so that's in there with them :D

i have no idea how all of the fry i've counted wound up on either the walls of the bin or the floor of the bin :rofl

it's very possible there's a boatload more clinging to the plant and i havn't seen them :thud

this is turning into quite the adventure !

i am so thankful to have my fellow kokonuts to guide me :wub:

I work with someone whose friend was a grandfather at 22. :o For reals. :yikes

Anyway, someone should be getting a breeder's medal in the next day or so . . . :whistle

some of the babies today (day 2 since hatching)
they don't really seem to moving around much, just kindof hanging out clinging to the walls and floor of the bin...
i did see one scurry to a new spot though- soooo cute :heart
can't wait until they begin swimming horizontally :teehee

They are not the most exciting things the first few days but still better than waiting for a tnak to cycle. :rofl2

happy to report they are finally starting to move around more frequently :happydance

however there is one little guy with a noticably deformed spine.....might have to do my first cull tomorrow :(

but on a positive note, i will be doing my first feeding tomorrow !

.....now i just have to see if i can find someone to feed my babies this sunday should eric and i go to vermont.....
