Will cold water kill my BBs?

The water is about 50° and I want to run my filters overnight to clear up the water. The filters are cycled. Will it kill my BBs? I know they're less active in the cold, but will they be okay? (No fish are in there and water is treated)

Your BB will be fine. I have several times done a water change with either much colder or warmer water and no cycle problems.

I'm not really sure I understand what you are doing but 50* temps will not kill BBs.

Maybe they added sand or something? huh, idk. Either way 50 degrees is fine c:
