Test Results for the Following:

    • * Nitrite Level(Tank) 0
    • * Nitrate level(Tank) 5-10
    • * Ammonia Level(Tap) 0
    • * Nitrite Level(Tap) 0
    • * Nitrate level(Tap) 5
    • * Ph Level, Tank (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 8.2-8.4
    • * Ph Level, Tap (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 7.6
      • Other Required Info:
        • * Brand of test-kit used and whether strips or drops? API drops
        • * Water temperature? 68-72F
        • * Tank size (how many gals.) and how long has it been running? 90 gal-1 year
        • * What is the name and "size of the filter"(s)? Marineland Penguin and Eheim 2217
        • * How often do you change the water and how much? 50% bi-weekly (I do less more often b/c of the pH difference problem).
  • * How many days ago was the last water change and how much did you change? yesterday-50%
  • * How many fish in the tank and their size? Georgia-6" common GF; Goldie-4" common GF; Titus-3" BN Pleco
  • * What kind of water additives or conditioners? Prime
  • * What do you feed your fish and how often? ProGold, Repashy, Ken's sticks. 1X daily
  • * Any new fish added to the tank? NO
  • * Any medications added to the tank? NO
  • * List entire medication/treatment history for fish and tank. Please include salt, Prazi, PP, etc and the approximate time and duration of treatment. Georgia was treated in hospital tank w/ Metro-Meds (for strange neuro behavior) for 1 week, then in main tank for additional week. This was 2 weeks ago.
  • * Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? Red bump on right side of nose--noticed it yesterday.
  • * Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? No. Acting entirely normal.

I was unable to get any good pix--I have to use the flash or it's just a blur and every time I did I got reflection off the glass. So the video seemed like a better plan.

I really do not want to put her back in a hospital tank b/c of my pH issue (pH in tap is 7.6 and outgasses once in the tank, rising to 8.4--there is no way to keep a hospital tank clean without 100% daily water changes and that is super hard on her).

I have live plants. If I need to add salt I can remove them but they may die if I do that.

She was waiting for me to feed her, LOL--so she was all over the place!

No suggestions anyone? Alex????

It MAY look a little better today. I'm not sure. I need to know if I should salt and to what %!
