I will be switching my 4ft tank over to bare bottom for a while. Been having issues with my tank health so bare bottom it is!

Need some inspiration please!

Thank you! I rather liked my barebottom setup, though I also love my tank's new do, with sand. :D

The bamboo is propped up in soap dishes, but with heavier duty suction cups! :)

I will go back to sand. But while I'm trying to get my fish healthy I want to go bare. Probably for at least 3 months.

Shelly what are those big bushy plants? They're beautiful!

They are the large bamboo plants from foster and smith :)

When I first set it up:

After the addition of some more river rocks and more plants:

Third incarnation without the plastic plant and some of the larger plants (a crypt and melon sword were moved to the 55g) and with some baby amazon swords:

nope just reflection from background, but I do have my big tank on a black stand which show's from the top ;)

Helen, I'm not sure I've seen a photo of your tank before. (Not that I don't think you've posted any photos, just that I haven't seen them :) ). It's beautiful! Very peaceful. you can decorate a tank of mine any time! :D
