Love your new anubias, and of course Mochi

thanks Lis, I think Mochi is enjoying his new plants (now that he's no longer terrified of them :rofl )

Beautiful!!! :heart

Mine just gets lighting from my tank light. :idont how often is the lamp on the tank on?

:happydance

thanks Mikey !

you are my go-to NJ aquatic plant expert :D

the lamp over my tank is only on if i'm working at my desk....

however the room does have two fairly large windows so it does get quite a bit of natural lighting....

do you think i should move it to a bowl of water under the window?

i do like the way it looks in the filter, and i'm sure it will help lower nitrites(or is it nitrates? i can't remember the nitrogen cycle at the moment lol )

Looks beautiful!!!!

thanks heidi ! :D

What size marineland filter you running?

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

It's the 30-50 gallon one... it gets 200 gph so it's perfect for a 20 gallon with just one fish :D (it does look really small though lol)

I am toying with the idea of getting a second one for added filtration- but I am hoping to upgrade (my tank size to a 55 or 75) when I move into a new apartment this Summer so I think I'm gonna wait it out...

also, your package is out for delivery ! :happydance

Ask Tanmy she knows sooooo much more than me :rofl3 The window should be plenty :D you can keep it in the filter, that's a good spot for it :)

It will eat nitrates :D

Congrats on your new plants and bleaching. I'm always hesitant also with the bleaching even though I know it needs to be done. :)
Your tank looks great. Your moss ball looks huge. Mochi adorable as always.

Looks great!

I have a bunch of pothos hanging out of my tank and they're absolutely thriving. It's a very simple, undemanding plant. Mine get a good amount of natural sunlight but definitely nothing direct.

Wow, an outing with some koko-nuts! I can imagine that was very fun.

Your tank looks wonderful with the new plants. And Mochi looks like he is getting darker in color--obviously from all the nutritious food and TLC! So cute, that one!

Very nice! It took a lot of close looking to figure out whether the floaty plants were real or not. :teehee

Maybe you'd like water sprite too! :o:D

:rofl I love the wild Mochi siting :)

Your tank and plants look great too :thumb:

If you have indirect sunlight from a big window in the same room, your pathos will be super :nana
