Anybody else had experience with aggresive Shubunkins?

Howdy folks!

I have a 65 gallon tank with a few small Ryukins, a little black moor and a large(7") Shubunkin. The Shubunkin was immediately aggressive towards my Ryukins and almost nipped half of one of their tails off! This has ceased but I am left wondering if this is typical behaviour for Shubunkins?

You seem to be quite overstocked. The Shubunkin is also quite larger than any of the other fish. He's also a single tailed which love to swim fast. He probably feels crowded and picks on the other fish because they are much smaller than him and he's stressed.

Some goldfish get overly excited with new tankmates and chase them around in what appears to be aggression. I was ready to put one in solitary until he abruptly stopped after about an hour and never acted that way again. Crowding will exaggerate this behavior.
